The Gifford Group story began long before its Austin roots. Gwyn’s career in real estate started in Houston in 2010, where her early experience in lending gave her a strong foundation in the financial side of a transaction before she transitioned into residential real estate with Sotheby’s International Realty. Her career later took her to Park City, Utah, where she continued serving clients with Berkshire Hathaway before making the move to Austin in 2020 to be closer to her son CJ and his wife, Piper. With years of experience across distinct markets and every side of the transaction, Gwyn has a deep understanding of what exceptional real estate representation should look like.That move ultimately inspired the next chapter.
After Gwyn helped Piper and CJ purchase their first home in Austin off-market during the crazy COVID pricing era, Piper fell in love with the process of homeownership and the opportunity to help others experience the feeling of owning a home. With more than a decade of professional experience in marketing, sales, and relationship building, Piper earned her real estate license in 2021, and together she and Gwyn founded The Gifford Group — combining Gwyn’s seasoned real estate expertise with Piper’s modern approach to marketing, negotiation, and client experience.
